"White Coils" Test

Setup:
This unit can be made from materials purchased locally in most areas - aside from the spark gap.
Two Pancake Coils poured in the bottoms of cut-off 5-gallon buckets!
Approx. 150 turns per secondary coil.  Insulation is paraffin wax + soy wax + titanium dioxide + boiled linseed oil.
Interleaves for each secondary are a 250 ft. roll of drywall seam paper soaked in boiled linseed oil.
Primary is "Romex" style house cable wired with all 3 conductors in parallel.
Capacitor is made from 10.5" x 27" x .1875" polycarbonate sheets and aluminum foil.  .008 mfd at 50kV.
Discharge posts contain a brass toilet float rod and are placed inside of 1.5" PVC pipes approx. 10" tall.
Spark gap is 1/2" tungsten - 6 series stationary.  Transformer is 15kV 60mA neon.
